This is daft we must use the draft!

I hope the announcement that players who chose to ply their trade away from Wales will some how be adversely affected when it comes to selecting the Wales squad is a first step towards some form of central contracting of players and a draft system being set up.

Give the minnows a chance

On the eve of what will hopefully be the greatest ever Rugby World Cup. When 20 countries come together to do battle for the Webb Ellis Cup, there are many things to celebrate which the competition has brought to the game over the last 20 years. However, there are also some parts of the World Cup which still need some fine tuning.

Congratulate winning ugly

Over the last few weeks, as the Ospreys gradually ascended the Magners League table, to claim their second title in three years, there seems to have been a groundswell of feeling within the Welsh Rugby press that the achievement was lessened because they did not win in style.
